How do I find the official BPMN view of a process?

There is often an overlap between what is modeled in ArchiMate and in BPMN. You can read more about this in the article about the relationship between BPMN and ArchiMate. A BPMN view creates ArchiMate relationships as soon as the view is made official. Below are the steps to find the official BPMN view of a process:

1. Click on the process object (either from the objects browser, a BPMN view, or an ArchiMate view). For an explanation about opening object properties, click here.

2. Select the Views tab.

You will find the official view in the bar under Business Process Model and Notation.

Call-activity

Do you have a call-activity on a BPMN view? Directly navigate to the official view for the associated process by double-clicking.

Process publication portal

It is possible to find all official processes in your BlueDolphin environment categorized by different perspectives. Click the Process portal tab to access the list of all available processes.
