You can enrich your Blue Dolphin objects with additional information from saved files.
Click an object to open it. In the general tab, below the object attributes (features), you will see an attachment (if any).
Action | Definition |
Add attachment | You can add an attachment by dragging it from your own environment to the browser window. You can also click the three dots and choose Upload files. |
Download attachment | You can download an attachment by clicking on it. The location of the download depends on your browser and operating system settings. |
Delete | You can delete an attachment by clicking on the bin icon. |
Adding an attachment
You can add an attachment to an object in two different ways. In the general tab, you can click the three dots and then Upload files.
When you have clicked Upload files, you will see a dialog from which you can select the file that you want to upload from your local machine.
You can also drag a file from your local machine to the browser window in which BlueDolphin is running.
BlueDolphin does not have the option to edit your attachment online. If you want to edit an attachment, you will have to do it on your local machine. After that, you can add the document with the same title. BlueDolphin will automatically replace the existing attachment.
