When you download or update the BPMN or Data module convention, the combinations are handled as follows:

  • Only the required combinations (you can find them in the tables below) are created, and they are in an enabled status. Everything else is created as disabled.

  • No combinations are created between custom definitions. This applies even if a definition from the library is missing, and only a custom one is present.

Deactivating a module in a tenant

When you deactivate the BPMN module, here's what happens:

  • No changes will occur in the definitions and combinations

  • BPMN views cannot be edited and appear blurry

  • Creating new BPMN views is not allowed

  • The "Save As" option is disabled

  • You can still delete BPMN views, including Official and Published views

  • The Process portal will no longer be visible in the tenant. Please note that if you want to preserve the content of Official BPMN views, you'll need to download them as PDFs individually. There isn't a bulk option to save them all at once.

  • The questionnaire "BPMN Object Description" cannot be downloaded from the template library

When you deactivate the Data module, here's what happens:

  • Definitions and combinations become locked

  • Data views cannot be edited and appear blurry

  • Creating new data views is not allowed

  • The "Save As" option is disabled

  • You can still delete data views, including Official and Published views

  • Deleting the questionnaire named "Data dictionary Description" is possible

  • You cannot create new object definitions in the Data directory
