You can add concepts and building blocks into your BlueDolphin environment using the Templates section of the Admin module. These templates are authored and maintained by ValueBlue.
First, go to the Admin section by clicking this icon .
When you access the Templates section, you'll see an overview of all the concepts and building blocks that have already been downloaded into your environment.
If you want to add new building blocks, click the library icon .
A new window is opened, showing all available templates. Within the pop-up, it is also visible which templates are already downloaded and if there is an update available for a previously downloaded template.
The templates are divided into the following categories:
Template category | Description |
Collections | A collection is a convention model: a set of object types and relationship types and their definitions. This can be used to create an empty environment with a convention model that matches your organization's needs. A collection contains no data, only types and their definitions. |
Questionnaires | Contains generic questionnaires |
Reports | Contains generic reports |
Object definitions |
Contains a single object definition, so you can extent a downloaded collection or just download the required definitions one by one. Note: When an object definition template is downloaded, it gets added to the list of disabled object definitions by default. To be able to use it further, you need to enable it first. |
Relationship definitions | Contains a single relationship definition, so you can extent a downloaded collection or just download the required definitions one by one. |
Standard templates | Preconfigured BlueDolphin sites that can contain objects, views, questionnaires, and source configurations. |
When you want to download a template, just select it and click the download button in the lower-right corner of the window. BlueDolphin shows a notification when the download is complete.
