You can mark views as favorites to quickly find and manage the ones you use often in the tool. This helps you keep important views organized and accessible.
Add a view to favorites
You can add any view you can access, whether it is your own, shared with you, public, published, or official.
To add a view to favorites, open the view that you want to add either in edit or view mode. Click the empty heart icon at the upper-right corner of the view.
The heart icon will change to blue to indicate the view is in your favorites list. Click the button again if you want to remove the view from your favorites.
In addition to the main method described earlier, you have the option to mark a view as a favorite or remove it from favorites by clicking the heart icon in the following locations:
- The open view dialog
- Any preview window
- The process portal page
- The expanded snapshot window of another view
View and manage favorites
To access and manage the list of your favorite views:
1. Navigate to the Views tab.
2. Click Open view in the toolbar.
3. Select My Favorites at the top of the list.
4. Here you can view the list of favorites and manage it as needed.
You are allowed to have a maximum of 25 favorite views, keeping the list tidy and up-to-date.
If the business units feature is enabled, you are allowed to a maximum of 25 favorites across all business units combined.
You can access the list favorites in two additional ways while performing the following tasks:
- Add them as objects to another view using the object browser
- Link them to an object on the canvas
Please note that in the event of a tenant reset, all favorite views are removed and the list is emptied.
You won't have access to a favorite view in your list if it has been:
- Deleted by the owner
- Changed from public to private by the owner
- Unshared by the owner
In such cases, it is advised to remove it from the list to free up space for new views.
