You can now transfer the BPMN diagram ownership. The new owner gains edit rights and can manage its future updates. Change ownership when a business process has a new owner, or when the current owner changes roles or leaves the organization. A diagram can only have one owner at the moment.
NOTE: |
Users with the standard Process administrators or Administrators role can change the owner of any diagram. Refer to Roles and Permissions for BPMN Diagrams for more information. |
From Diagrams Tab
To transfer a BPMN diagram:
- Open the Diagrams tab.
- Search the diagram in the list and click the three dots next to it. Select Change owner option.
- A pop-up displays a list of users with the Process Modeler, Process Administrator, or Administrators role. Select the user you want to take over the ownership and click Change.
You can see the changed owner in the list.
From a Diagram
You can transfer diagram ownership while it is open by clicking the three-dot menu in the top bar.
Once confirmed, you are not able to edit the diagram. It can only be edited by the new owner.
The owner's name also appears under the 'Owned by' label in the diagram's side panel. It is possible to change owner from Process details page under Process browser.
