Welcome to the Admin module – BlueDolphin

If you are about to start working with the Admin module in BlueDolphin, this is the right place to guide you on your journey. This page gives a brief summary of the module, how to work in it and refers you to additional user documentation.

If you have the Administrators role in BlueDolphin, you can use the Admin tab for website maintenance and to configure your BlueDolphin environment.

The Admin tab is not visible (or accessible) for users without the Administrators role.

Click the icon and the Admin module opens, as shown below.

Menu item	Description
Configuration
Business units beta	Please note this will be visible only in case the business units feature has been enabled for your organization. Here you can see a list of available business units, add new or create a copy of an existing business unit.
Templates	Here you can see a list of available templates that can be downloaded from the BlueDolphin library.
Object definitions	Here you can configure object properties, add questionnaires to object types and link sources to object definitions.
Object questionnaires	Here you can create new object questionnaires and adjust existing questionnaires.
Relationship definitions	Here you can define relationships, assign each relationship type to the corresponding object types and line up the relationship definitions to the object creation.
Relationship questionnaires	Here you can create new relationship questionnaires and adjust existing questionnaires.
Sources	Here you can see an overview of the source data available within BlueDolphin and download the content of the source.
Identity and access
Identity providers	Here you can see all identity providers that are available for your organization.
Users	Here you can create and delete users. You can also adjust the users' data.
Roles	Here you can define, modify and delete roles, set permissions for each role, and assign users to roles. This way you can give users the right permissions within your BlueDolphin environment.
Views	Here you can find the list of views and their owners. You can also manage view ownership (for example, transfer views) in this area.
Public API keys	Here you can view, add, and delete keys to use with the Public API.
System
General	Here you can view general system settings.
Import	Here you can import AMEFF files into your BlueDolphin environment.
Settings	View and manage system-wide settings. Here you can configure the background color of the top menu and answer a few questions about your organization.

We have set up the Admin module so that you can quickly find your way around it. The additional documentation within this guide can help you in navigating the Admin area.

Note: When working in the Admin area, please make sure the changes are applied by clicking the save icon in the top-right corner.
