You can link multiple views to a free shape or image on a view. The advantage of this is that when you click through a free shape or image to another view, that makes it easy to set up a good navigation structure in BlueDolphin and, for example, to add in-depth insights to certain parts of the view.
In the edit mode, you can link a view to a free shape or image by clicking on it. The following tools will be shown:
By clicking the button , you will see a list of all the views that you can choose from.
As you can see in the image above, you can search for a view in the search bar or browse through different categories. By clicking the view(s), it will be linked to the free shape.
In the view mode, you can navigate to the linked toolbox(es). A free shape to which a view is linked lights up as soon as you move your mouse over it. Also, the mouse cursor shows a hand-indicator and you will see a tooltip that tells you to double-click to open the view.
One view linked
If one view is linked, it will open immediately when you double-click the free shape.
Multiple views linked
If multiple views are linked, a list of views is displayed. By clicking the view you want to see, it will open.
It is also possible that a view has been removed by the owner or that you don't have access to it.
In this case, you will see an orange exclamation mark in front of the title of the toolbox.
By clicking one of these views, you will get an error message.
