You can link multiple views to an object on a view. The advantage of this is that when you click through an object to another view, that makes it easy to set up a good navigation structure in BlueDolphin and, for example, to add in-depth insights to certain parts of the view.
In the edit mode, you can link a view to an object by clicking that object. The following tools will be shown:
By clicking the button , you will see a list of all the views that you can choose from.
As you can see in the image above, you can search for a view in the search bar or browse through different categories. By clicking the view, it will be linked to the object.
In the view mode , you can navigate to the linked toolbox(es). An object to which a view is linked lights up as soon as you move your mouse over it. Also, the mouse cursor shows a hand-indicator and you will see a tooltip that tells you to double-click to open the view.
One view linked
If one view is linked, it will open immediately when you double-click the object.
Multiple views linked
If multiple views are linked, a list of views is displayed. By clicking the view you want to see, it opens.
It is also possible that a view has been removed by the owner or that you don't have access to it.
In this case, you will see an orange exclamation mark in front of the title of the toolbox.
By clicking one of these views, you will get an error message.
Official processes
As soon as there is a process object on the view that is linked to an official process, this process is automatically linked to the object and it cannot be removed from the object.
