To open a view in BlueDolphin, click Views and then the Open view button in the toolbar .
Upon clicking the button, the Open view panel will appear:
The panel shows a list of views divided by category. Select a category of views by clicking on it from the list on the left. Search for a view within the selected category by typing its name in the search box.
To sort the list in any column, click on the column header. By default, the list is sorted by last edited (newest on top). You can preview a view by clicking the Preview button.
To open a view, double-click it in the list or click Open view in the bottom-right corner.
You can open a view in a new tab or window by using the standard keyboard shortcuts. The functionality is supported for:
- The ‘Open view’ dialog for every view in every folder
- The ‘Open view’ link on the preview dialog
- The ‘Open view’ link when you right-click on a view object on a view
- The ‘Open linked views’ when view(s) are linked to various elements on a view
- The ‘Open view’ link on the history panel of a view object
There are five categories of views:
|My views||These are the views for which you are the owner (also when the view is shared, public, published or official).|
|Shared with me||
These are the views that are shared with you.
Note: If a shared view is set to private, its status will remain 'private'.
These are the views (owned by other users) that have been made public.
These are the views which are published by you or another user. These views aren't editable anymore. It is possible to make a copy of a published view (Save as) so you can edit the copy. A published view can only be deleted by its owner.
See the article Publish a view for more information.
These are official BPMN and/or Data views.
See the article Make a process view official for more information.
Note: Opening an official BPMN view takes you to the process publication portal. Official Data views are opened on the Views page.
