To help you create a better visual representation of elements on your canvas, BlueDolphin supports setting the opacity for:
- Objects
- Free shapes
- Texts
- Lines and
- Relationships
This feature allows you to display layering and other visual cues that may be valuable when creating
views. You can set the opacity of each element on your canvas in the color editor.
To access the color editor of an object, a free shape or a text, click the element and then click the background color editor icon .
To access the color editor of a line or a relationship, right-click the element and click Edit link color.
Opacity slider can be found in the lower right corner of the editor.
Set the opacity to a value between 0% and 100% and confirm by clicking OK.
Tips: When an element is copied onto the canvas, the new element will have the same opacity as the source element.
When selecting multiple items on the canvas, you can set the opacity for all selected items at the same time. However, the functionality is not supported for group objects.
