Indus.1 Maintenance.2 Release Notes (Stability Focus) (December 1, 2023)
New maintenance release of BlueDolphin is out !
To further enhance the platform's stability, we are introducing two improvements on views.
What to expect with the Release:
Error management for failed requests while editing views:
To ensure that data is synchronized between backend and frontend, this release introduces a technical improvement to manage failed requests when working on views.
When a request to update data on a view fails, the view will be blocked for further editing. A message will prompt users to refresh the view. Upon refresh, all changes made just before the failure will be synchronized and displayed on the view.
This message will be displayed exclusively on the 'Views' page when a user is actively editing a view.
While this significantly reduces the risk of losing your actions on a view, please note that there is still a possibility that the last few changes may not be saved.
Managing loss of internet connectivity:
While editing a view, if the browser detects a loss of internet connection, the view will be blocked for further editing. A message would appear on the screen informing users that there is no internet.
As soon as the internet connection is restored, the view can be edited again.
