Notice: Removal of Gravatar Functionality in BlueDolphin Profile Page

Overview:
As part of the upcoming release planned by the end of May-2024, we will be dropping the functionality of Gravatar on the Profile page of BlueDolphin. This notice is to inform users who may be affected by this change and to address any concerns they may have.

Change Details:
- Functionality Removal: The Gravatar functionality on the Profile page will be removed.
- Replacement: As part of new design- initials form Firstname and Lastname of the user as default profile image. In future we are planning to introduce upload your custom image functionality (not part of upcoming release).

What does this change mean for a user who uses the gravatar?
Users who currently have a custom avatar through Gravatar will see it replaced by the default initials of username.

For users who do not use Gravatar, they will see new profile picture which is initials.

  Can you clarify what “Note: The gravatar is only removed from the profile page. It's still visible in the usual other places.” What are the usual other places? If the feature is removed, why would it show after the update at all?

  Dear Erik Rynearson , 

  Revamped profile page will be released as part LaPlata.2 next week.
  We have handled the “Note: The gravatar is only removed from the profile page. It's still visible in the usual other places.” its not applicable anymore.

  User can see the initials profile image across the platform.
