Migration

What happens to the BPMNs that I have created in the “old” version?

If you are an existing user of BPMN in BlueDolphin and if you decide to get the new BPMN activated, then it does not impact any of the existing BPMNs and related features and functionalities of the old version. You may use both.

Processes created in the old BPMN are still available to you and you can work with them as before.

Processes in the old version and the new version do not interact with each other; they are completely independent. This means that if you create a process using the new version, it will be available to you only there. Similarly, processes created using the old version will only be available there.

Is there migration available for my current BPMNs?

ValueBlue will be introducing a service for converting existing diagrams to the new format. Details are being worked out and will be shared in due time.

Can I choose to still work with the old BPMN?

You can still work on the old version.

The plan is to decommission old BPMN at some point in the future, however we will keep it up as long as needed to onboard all the customers to the new functionality. We will update you when a decommission date is planned.
