Provide a tags feature to objects for search and discoverability

- What is your wish?
To be able to add tags to objects and allow searching to use the tags in addition to the object name
- What is the problem you encounter?
We have hundreds of application and capability objects in our large enterprise repository and its difficult for the architects to search for the appropriate object to reuse so they end up creating a new one that we then have to govern and reconcile. This makes reuse difficult
This also happens when objects are renamed or represented with another known name
- Why do you want this wish?
If we could add alias and related tag strings to an object that the BD search engine also usesit increases the discoverability of reusable objects in the repository.
- Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
The only way is to agree on a very disciplined naming convention for the objects and include keywords in the name.
- How would you ideally solve the problem?
To be able to add keyword tags, and use these tags to search and group objects, would be very helpful. Similar to the tagging feature in Zendesk, but then applied to BlueDolphin views.
