We are happy to inform you of the new release related to the lifecycle states on relations.
This new release enhances the process of adding relationships between objects, allowing users to define their lifecycle states from objects page.
Below are the key highlights:
1. Add New Relationship with Lifecycle State:
- Users can now select the lifecycle state (Current or Future) when adding a new relationship via the "Add New Relationship" button under Relationship Tab in objects page

- A star icon will indicate "Future" relationships in the Relationship tab.

2. Relationship Lifecycle State Rules:
The lifecycle state of the relationship depends on the states of the source and target objects:
- Current to Current: Relationship can be either Current or Future.
- Current to Future: Relationship is always Future.
- Future to Current: Relationship is always Future.
- Future to Future: Relationship is always Future.
Note: All existing relationships in your tenant will get “Current” state by default, once will deliver switching of relationship lifecycle state functionality , users can switch the existing relations to right logical state, please stay tuned!
We hope this update improves your experience in managing relationships effectively!
