WISH: Automatically do a re-layout of a selection of objects

When generating overviews, I like to use the conditional layout on a regularly alrge number of objects, e.g. all 400 applications modelled in our architecture.

When the set of objects is first added on a work set, the objects are nicely shown in a grid layout.

Unfortunately, there is no control on how the objects are placed. I would like to be able to define some kind of sorting to create a nice overview where I can find one particular object in the large number of objects.

Furthermore, after some time, there are new objects to be added to the work set. Then I would like to re-apply the grid layout to the objects on the work set. Preferably only the selected objects are rearranged, but for a first version I would already be glad to have a re-layout for all objects.
