Orca- Default for new relationship create changed from 'Future' to 'Current' (March 6th, 2025)

Default relationship lifecycle state

After reviewing comments and concerns from our users, we've now changed the default lifecycle state when creating new relations from ‘Future’ to ‘Current’.

This means that whenever a new relationship is created via one of the following ways, BlueDolphin will default to creating a relationship in the ‘Current’ lifecycle state:

• The ‘Relationships’ tab on the Object page and on the Object Viewer on the Views page
• The ‘Relationship tool’ (aka the Magic Stick)

• The Public API

Why did we change the default?

Changing the default fits perfectly in our vision where future state objects and relations are modeled in our Solution Design/projects extension, and the current state is modeled in general views and our repository.
