Use rich text format in views

We want to enrich our views with additional information. Currently, we have to make do with additional text blocks in order to create headings and must accept that we cannot easily use well-shaped lists or cannot emphasize (part of) the text.

It would be very helpful to have the possibility to use rich text in at least the text blocks. It improves the readability and provides a better ability to use BD views in communicating with the business

    We have released text  resizing up to 128px , as part Guiana.1 release in Q2-2023.

    Hi, I am very in favor for this option. I would like to apply common formatting to text blocks and text inside other free shapes. Formatting like italic, bold, underline. And applying some color to text would also be nice.

    Please make this happen!

    Yes please! This could also help with adding URL's to text objects, so that one can navigate to a certain external website or document.

    Hello Milo Broekmans,

    I see that Kim indicated that this wish will be picked up this year. I have to inform you that although this wish has been added to our wishlist, we won't make it to start working on it this year. It will be addressed within the next two years (hopefully a year). :)

    Having more control on the typography would be very useful in view, making object to pay attention to more stand out.

    Any news??? It would also solve the problem that when you want to create an URL on your view to another document, the whole URL stays visible.

    The richt text editor made it onto the roadmap and will be in the update in the first half of next year.

    Yes it would be great to be able to format the text in a text box, with different font size, Colours, Bold, Italics.

    It seems the solution was not was asked for. It is about the ability to have text in a box with different styles/sizes, not have the one size for all the text in a box.

    It would be great to be able to use rich text instead of plain especially in the Governance and Navigation views.
