EA: Where do you see yourself in your organization?

You are, most probably, only a small part in the totality that is your organization. An organization, generally, encompasses many different business units and accompanying roles working together. Since we position BlueDolphin as a collaboration platform, we at ValueBlue developed a framework that touches upon the multitude of roles within organizations that we encounter.

This framework is discussed during the kick-off of a new BlueDolphin implementation, to make stakeholders aware of all the possible roles in different business units that may have something to do with this concept that we call Enterprise Architecture. Obivously this framework is never a perfect fit, but it serves its goal as an awareness exercise, into triggering stakeholders to consider other roles apart from their business unit that will perhaps, at some point in the future, use BlueDolphin to 'get stuff out' as well as 'put stuff in'.
