Terms in Logica Data Diagrams should be saved to the repository
AnsweredRecently I started experimenting with the Logical Data Diagrams and noticed unexpected results. I verified this with one of the ValueBlue consultants and he said this is by design.
It is about the following: When you use a logical data diagram, you can insert terms into Data Objects. That works as expected. However, these terms are present only in the current diagram. The terms and their relationship to the Data Object are not saved into the database.
This means that if you remove the Data Object and insert it again, it shows up empty with all the terms lost.
My 'wish' is that the terms and their relationships are saved for each Data Object, in a way that if anyone inserts the Data Object in a Logical Data Diagram, the same "truth" is presented. Similar to how Archimate objects keep their properties when re-used accross views.
