Sort Objects alphabetically in BPMN when adding to the view
AnsweredCurrently, when adding objects to an BPMN view, the objects are sorted first on object type (e.g. application component, business object, data object), but after that the objects are not ordered alphabetically, but in a different way (createdOn?). Please sort by type first, then alphabetically so that you don't have to search long when adding the objects. Certainly in the case where many different objects can be used within a process.

Adding Search in the 'related objects' pane would also be a useful addition to the above.

Hey Lvergeldt
I am so so sorry for the late response! Can you please send me some screenshots or videos of what you mean? I have discussed this, but we don't really understand this wish. Could you please answer these questions:
- What is your wish?
- Why do you want this wish?
- Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
- How would you ideally solve the problem?
- How big is the wish on a scale from 1 to 5? (1 = it would be nice, but definitely not necessary, and 5 = I cannot work another day without it).
Thanks in advance :)!

Hello Kim,
Hopefully the image below, helps me explain the issue.
In a BPMN view, the objects related to process are shown, as you can see on the image below. These objects are then sorted on their type (Application, Business Object, Data Object). However, these objects are not sorted alphabetically, but probably on their creation date. If these objects would be sorted alphabetically it would be easier to find the right objects. Also, a lot of object names are not readable (only by hovering over the object), so maybe you can make the block a little bit bigger?

See text above - Why do you want this wish?
This would make the life of a process modeler a lot better. - Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
Search through all the objects until you find the object you are looking for. - How would you ideally solve the problem?
By sorting the objects alphabetically instead of on the creation date. - How big is the wish on a scale from 1 to 5? (1 = it would be nice, but definitely not necessary, and 5 = I cannot work another day without it).
