Process Portal: download a BPMN-flow to file (same as in the view editor)

• What is your wish?

To be able to save a BPMN flow diagram as a graphic file (just as you can do with the Archimate views)

• Why do you want this wish?

Because sometimes we want to store a picture of the BPMN diagram in an office document or send it as a separate file

• Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?

Not really. Print screen, clip the BPMN diagram (but often too low pixel precision) and copy that. 

• How would you ideally solve the problem?

Provide under the "..." menu in the BPMN editor and process portal a download function.

• How big is the wish on a scale from 1 to 5? (1 = it would be nice, but definitely not necessary, and 5 = I cannot work another day without it).

  Hi Roeland, 

  thanks for your input, but can you explain exactly what you miss? 
  In the view editor, it is already possible to download a process model to file (PDF, PNG, SVG format), also when you're accessing the view in read-only mode. 
  Here is an example 
  

   

  Do I understand you correctly that you want the same 'download view' functionality in the Process Portal?

  Thanks. I should have been more precise: what I mean is to add this function to the process portal. There, there is only a 'Save' functionality. A download there would be handy too.

  thanks for clarifying. I updated the title to reflect this, let me know if you disagree.

  We agree this would be a meaningful improvement and at first sight the effort doesn't seem big. This is not a promise but we will certainly consider it for a release in the near future.
