How we process your wishes

If someone knows BlueDolphin best, it's you, our users. That's why we love hearing about how you use BlueDolphin and what could make it better. We really appreciate and value your insights!
We want to share a few guidelines on how to use the Product Wishes Topic so that our Product team can effectively use and use your feedback:
Firstly, please Follow the Community Code of Conduct
Next, we'll process your newly posted wishes periodically. We're working on responding to new wishes, as well as on eliminating the backlog of unanswered ones. That could result in slightly longer response times. We appreciate your patience, please know that we are working on it.
We really want to hear what issues you might experience within BlueDolhpin, and what you would like to see added to better support you in your work. Please note, though, that we have a roadmap schedule for the rest of the year and beyond. Of course, we have calculated room for additional topics within certain sprints to realize your wishes, among others. Yet, we cannot honor every wish. This depends on the estimated impact + difficulty of the requested feature. That might mean your wish could be projected for release later in the year (Q2, 3, or 4), is added to the backlog for 2024, or we cannot prioritize it over other planned features. Still, don't let that discourage you! It's also very much possible your wish could be added as part of an existing, bigger improvement project. We'll try to be as precise as possible in managing your expectations.
That being said, we have a few guidelines:
1. If it's a bug, create a ticket.
2. Search for a similar wish first.
3. Vote for wishes you like
Votes do matter! See a wish you like or agree with? Please upvote it. We really keep an eye on the number of votes for a wish. It helps us determine the need for a feature and prioritize it.
Try to answer these questions in your post or comment:
- What is your wish?
The title of the wish should be self-explanatory. A well-worded title may gather more votes from your fellow community members.
- What is the problem you encounter?
Provide as much context as possible. In what situation do you have the problem, how often does this happen, how many users have this problem, etc.
- Why do you want this wish?
- Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
- How big is the problem on a scale from 1 to 5?
(1 = it would be nice, but definitely not necessary,
5 = I can't work another day without it).
It's much easier for us to address a wish if we clearly understand the context and why it matters to you.
Last but not least, make sure to submit your wish in English, so all the members of this community get involved.
