Clear the value of a drop-down radio input field

We would like the ability to easily  clear the value of a drop-down radio input field. Unfortunately, it is not possible to simply do this

  Yes, we can understand how it can be frustrating that you have to select a value once you've clicked the field, and cannot clear it. Especially when this is possible for drop-down fields with multiple clickable options.
