Hector.2 Release notes (August 14th, 2023)
We are excited to announce the latest BlueDolphin release, Hector.2 is available!
Feature Highlight:
In this release, we introduce an enhanced capability in the Architecture and Data views. With the 'Spider tool' functionality, you now have the flexibility to add related objects to canvas by displaying or hiding the existing relationships between these objects. By default, relationships are displayed, providing you with a comprehensive view of your data interactions.
Improvement:
Experience a refreshed login interface that sports a sleek and modern design. Navigating to the BlueDolphin platform has never been more visually pleasing.
Bug Fixes:
Resolved naming of transferred views: Previously, transferring ownership of a public and published view named XYZ led to an unintended renaming of the published view to XYZ_01. We have successfully rectified this issue. Now, when ownership is transferred between users, the published view retains its original name, XYZ, as expected.
Fixed navigation to home page: Users encountered intermittent navigation failures when attempting to use the Back or Home button to return to the Landing page from linked Views. We have addressed this problem, ensuring consistent and reliable navigation throughout the platform.
Search of views in admin: An issue arose in the 'views' section of the admin module, specifically when selecting 'sort on owner.' The search functionality was limited to removed users, excluding active ones. This limitation has been resolved, and the search feature now functions seamlessly for all users.
Resolved deletion of transferred views: In the admin module, transferring views from User A to User B had an unintended consequence. If views belonging to User A were subsequently deleted, the transferred views to User B were also deleted. This behavior has been rectified, and transferred views to User B will no longer be deleted.
We trust that these enhancements and fixes will contribute to a more efficient experience with BlueDolphin.
