Improve the visual indication of linked objects to views.
BeantwoordWe need to display a visual icon to on an ArchiMate object, if double clicked, is linked to another view. Eg below is an example one is linked and one is not. You can not tell it is linked

The end user has to turn on “Show all connected views” Which is off by default and really for the user experience it should be on by default. However even when on, it's such a subtle difference as shown below and is not obvious enough to most users.

What me and the team want to see to make it so much easier to identify for our users is something like this that has a visual icon on the object IF it is linked to another view, not just a subtle shadow, AND have this on by default or as a global setting that the admin can enforce to be on.
Hope that gives some clarity around this request.

Dear Lee Matthews
We are currently working on this idea to implement linking shapes to views and external URLs and is being refined as part of our planning process. In this current idea, we want to improve visual indication of linked views/URLs.
Thank you.

Dit kan inderdaad verbeterd worden; een indicatie op het object met een link zou de focus van de kijker in ieder geval richten op het feit dat er meer informatie achter te vinden is.

Good idea
