Conditional layout applied to relations
Beantwoord- What is your wish?
Currently, when you apply a conditional layout based on the properties of a relation (questionnaire), the layout is applied to the objects the relation connects to, instead of the relation itself. In the case of objects that have many relations, applying a conditional layout results in ‘rainbow’ colored objects not showing any relevant information about the relations.
My wish is that - instead of the connected objects - the relations themselves will have the conditional layout applied to them, when the conditional layout is based on the properties of a relation.
- What is the problem you encounter?
Described above.
- Why do you want this wish?
The current application of a conditional layout doesn't show any relevant information, since the layout is applied to the related objects instead of the relations.
- Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
I haven't found a workaround yet. For overviews with conditional layout based on a single property of a relation, I currently add a note next to the relation (so I don't use the conditional layout).
- How big is the problem on a scale from 1 to 5?
3. In my daily work, overviews with conditional layout applied to relations would help to gain insights on more complex designs. My workaround currently adds to the workload.
