Free Shapes to link to Objects or external url's also, instead of Views only

The views would be soo much more powerful if free shapes would not only have link(s) to Views, but that other links would also be supported: links to objects and links to external sources.

That would also solve some other wishes, e.g. when selecting a ‘nice’  freeshape for some application X, and then linking that freeshape to the object Application X.

When enabling arbitrary hyperlink, it could link for instance (back)link to Corporate sharepoint or confluence pages.

There is barely a workaround

    We are currently working on this idea and is being refined as part of our planning process. In the current idea, we want to implement linking shapes to views and external URLs. Linking to Objects has not been part of this, and we will treat this as a separate idea.

    Hi Tom, highly appreciated! When you support external external urls, I can also put the deeplink to an object there as well, which is good enough for me

    Is there already a ticket Tom where I can vote for linking free shapes to objects? I would really value this feature a lot. Others tools have it, and it combines the power of free shapes stories and views with architeture object management. Imo this would be a major step forward. Best, Peter
