Orca - Relationship Lifecycle State Management via Public API (February 10th 2025)

We are excited to introduce the ability for Public API users to create and update the lifecycle state of relationships seamlessly. 

With this enhancement, users can now specify a lifecycle state when creating a relationship, ensuring better integration with their application workflows. If no state is provided during creation, the relationship will default to the "Future" state.

Additionally, users can update the lifecycle state of an existing relationship, allowing for more dynamic management of relationships over time.

  Really love this added feature of the PublicAPI. Now i can automate my governance rules:

  • Current to Future → Relationship was always Future.
  • Future to Current → Relationship was always Future.
  • Future to Future → Relationship was always Future.
