Wanneer je zoekt in de objectenlijst worden termen in het Naam-veld niet getoond.

Ze worden echter wél getoond in de omlaaggeklapte preview-lijst (net onder het zoekveld). Dit is best verwarrend, want je verwacht die objecten dan ook in de eindresultaten terug te vinden, maar dat is dus niet zo.

Ik gebruik het Naam veld nu vaak om aliassen en andere schrijfwijzen in te vullen, om zo het aantal "dubbele" objecten te voorkomen. Dan moet het alleen dus wel mogelijk zijn om goed te kunnen zoeken in beide velden.

    Ook als je een nieuwe relatie wilt leggen, wordt wél het Naam-veld doorzocht, wat natuurlijk prachtig is, maar die lijn zou m.i. doorgetrokken moeten worden naar alle zoekopties binnen BD.

    Thanks for your wish. I have translated it for our BD users who don't speak Dutch: 

    ''When you search in the object list, words in the ''name field'' are not shown. However, they are shown in the collapsed preview list (just below the search field). This isn't very clear because you expect to find those objects in the final results, but that is not the case. I often use the ''name field'' to enter aliases and other spellings to avoid the number of "duplicate" objects. But then it must be possible to search properly in both fields. '''

    A little question, so you want the name and title of an object to be displayed in the search bar? Instead of only the title, as shown in the image below:

    The screenshot you sent isn't really representative. It already shows the name under the title. (But your Support medewerker doesn't seem to have a Name)

    This is where the confusion originates, because when you type (a part of) the Name, it shows that object as long as you don't hit enter. My wish is that in the end results (after entering your search), objects that showed when typing, do also show up in the final results list (which they do not at the moment).

    I have discussed this wish and there is one question; Do you mean that you also want to show the name as part of the object?

    That isn't easy because you can search for all object properties (not only title and name but also others). You will not see it when you open the object, but it is part of the search result. 

    Please let me know!

    No, it doesn't need to show in the results.

    I just want to have the results of my query including Name AND Title.
    The search results can be left unaltered (visually).

     

    EDIT: I DON'T want other fields turning up in the results. These fields can contain entire sentences or even more. This would make the search results become irrelevant. HENCE: The wish is only for the Name AND Title fields.
