The flow lines are straight angled in the Alpha version of the new BPMN that is currently being tested by a selected group of customers.

We are projecting a release of our updated BPMN editor in Q3, which includes functionality for straight / squared lines.
Let us know if you have any questions until then.

We would like the same functionality on our Archimate views as well, but it not on our roadmap for this year. It is on our backlog for 2024.
