    This is definitely key to make BlueDolphin the company broad portal/platform for every employee.

    External hyperlinks are critical as there always be underlying documentation that needs to be easy accessible.

    Unfortunately the outdated method Justin pointed out is not easy or user-friendly for everyone.

    Ja, eens met deze wens! Of mogelijkheid om rich text in free format object te plaatsen, met URL hidden achter een zin of woord.

    Currently, this feature is not planned, because we believe the planned rich text functionality (planned for Q3) is already making it easy to redirect to a different page from an object.

    VB, can you explain how this rich text functionality will work? 

    What I want is to

    1. create an ArchiMate element or a free form object
    2. Put text on the object
    3. Enable someone to click or double-click to go to an external URL

    The current hyperlink method fails on the first two because

    a) it only works with a free form object, not an ArchiMate element

    b) the user sees the URL, which may be long and ugly, rather than friendly text

    The official response by Sebastiaan Bosman (posted 9 months ago) stated this was a feature planned for Q3. Is there any update on this?

    Hello,

    We are currently working on this idea and is being refined as part of our planning process. In the current idea, we want to implement linking shapes to views and external URLs. We will keep you posted as progress further.
