    Hello Arnoud Willemsen

Thank you for your detailed explanation!

We have looked into a grouping of archimate objects and a grouping of archimate objects & free shapes and concluded that it does not look consistent. Your wish has been taken into account and has been added to our wishlist. I can't tell you when exactly it will be picked up, but we will definitely let you know when it happens.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and findings with us!

    Hello Arnoud Willemsen,

    Thank you for your wish.

    1) It is possible to group free shapes and archimate objects. Just don't select one object out of grouped objects while moving. If you bumped into an issue while doing it, please provide us with more details (screenshots, videos) and we will have a closer look at it.

    2) Could you please provide us with an example (if possible) on how the visibility can be improved.

Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts.

    Hi Sveta,

Sorry, what I meant is to combine free shapes and archimate object in one grouping which is possible I learned meanwhile from Wilbert, but in the GUI it appeared as if the grouping is being removed, when I put a free shape in a group of solely archimate objects.

Since the archimate grouping has a good visible grouping frame, this seemed to have been removed when I put in a free shape, but it turned out (according to Wilbert) that the grouping frame style was changed because I added a free shape, but the grouping frame style is so badly visible that it appeared as if the grouping fram was removed.

So therefore my wish to have the grouping frame for free shapes or when combining free shapes with archimate objects, irrelevant of the order in which you combine them, to be as visible as at least the grouping frame for archimate objects.
