Default colors for "Object Definitions"
BeantwoordWhat is your wish?
As Admin of BlueDolphin i would like to be able to change the default color of an "ObjectDefinition".
Why do you want this wish?
Especially with the "Data dictionary" object types, it would be nice to provide them with their own coloring.
Now they are all the same color. Especially if you have multiple "Data dictionaries" in your environment it is hard to tell the difference.
Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
Nope.
How would you ideally solve the problem?
Add the ability to set both the color of the object and the color of the text.
How big is the problem on a scale from 1 to 5?

Yes! Very handy.
To increase recognizability in views we tend to use different colors for different object types. One color (yellow) for all business architecture layer object types is not handy.
And we see that various architecture guilds suggest to use various colors, for instance: https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.businessarchitectureguild.org/resource/resmgr/public_resources/Business_Architecture_Metamo.pdf
Now we update them manually to the right color after adding the object, but would be much handier to use template based colors, directly applied when adding a specific object of an object type.

Yes. And what about changing the icon as well. Think about object definitions that are based on the same type, but you want to do something else with it ;). Colors won't fly when using a conditional layout, but the icon is sticky...

Changing the icon and the form of an object would realy be nice. (Like in Archi :) )
