[wish] show names of referenced objects in official processes
VoltooidProcesses have additional information that can be added as text or as a reference (relation) to an object. For instance the responsibility for a Business Process can be described by a reference to a Business Actor.
Wish
I want additional information that is added as a reference shown in the official publication. At least I want the name of the referenced object at the time of publication shown.
Why
Additional information has value and needs to be accessible for users. The value of a reference is that when the name of an object changes, the name automatically appears in the questionnaire where the object is referenced.
Workaround
A possible workaround is to add an additional text field so that a user can type the name(s) of (a) referenced object(s). The creation of a dropdown with names is also an option in case of objects that won’t change names often. Both workarounds don’t add value to the user experience…
Possible Solution
Create text fields that can hold the name of referenced objects for official publications. Put the names of the referenced objects in those fields at the moment of publication.

Hi Roland Kaijen and Roeland Loggen,
I am happy to share that this functionality has been released with the Baiji.2 release shipped over the weekend.
Please let us know your feedback.
Thank you,

There is a workaround for that (but I haven't got it working yet :-)).
You can define a 'responsibility' field in the questionnaire, but link it to a relation. When you create a relation of that type, the field in the questionnaire is automatically filled as well. And then you can mark this field to be included in the 'official views'. When published this field is shown.
Check with your implementation consultant to get it working though :-)
