Adjust the text of the activation email for new users in BlueDolphin settings for adminstrators
- What is your wish?
We want to be able to adjust the text of the activation email that is send to new BlueDolphin users.
- What is the problem you encounter?
For a large group of readonly/view users their account is automatically created from our Identity & Access Management system as part of a generic authorisation role. These users don't always know this and interpret and report the resulting activation email as spam or phising mails at our IT servicedesk.
Users also receive other emails about product updates, webinars, etc. Users also report these emails as spam and phishing mails.
- Why do you want this wish?
We want to adjust the activation email to explain to the users why they received that activation email and tell them it's save to activate their account.
We also want to explain to the users that they will receive other emails from ValueBlue (and why) and tell them it's possible to change these email preferences using the links at the bottom of these emails.
- Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
No, we don't have a workaround. It results in work/time required by our IT servicedesk to process the spam/phishing reports and to explain to users how to change the email preferences.
- How would you ideally solve the problem?
We want to be able to change the text of the activation email to be able to instruct users properly.
- How big is the problem on a scale from 1 to 5?

Even better, no activation mail at all. As far as I know this is already a wish :-)

Count me in on this one!
A simpler mail for our "non-IT"- employees would be less confusing because they primarily use BlueDolphin for referencing purposes. Even better would be no mail and direct activation.
