Change behaviour of Ctrl-Click to open a URL in the non-edit modus
VoltooidAt our company we have many users who only use BlueDolphin to consult working sets (not to make these themselves). They can click on a hyperlink in e.g. a block and, for example, open a Word document. This must now be done with Ctrl-Click. This is very confusing for our non-IT-minded employees! Of course. I've read ValueBlue's reasoning for this design, to not get accidentally into the edit mode.
However, most of our users do not edit BlueDolphin worksets. It would then be nice if, in the "non-editing mode", a simple Double.Click would suffice. Afterall, in most other software packages, double-click usually means "open". Can the Ctrl-Click somehow be bypassed as a workaround?
Preferred solution: add a preference setting to change Ctrl-Click in Double-Click for non-editing BlueDolphin users.
Thanks!

We have implemented this in the latest Guiana.1 release.
In view mode, hyperlinks can now be opened by a single click. The link opens in a new tab. Ctrl+click is also available as an alternative.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Team ValueBlue

Hi Richard Floor en Ties Tittse,
Thanks for bringing this topic up.
Instead of incorporating this in the MUI, we'll have a look internally to see if we can find an alternate solution.Let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.
