Provide setting to automatically add composite relationship when dragging an object into another object
BeantwoordIt is taking me a lot of time to draw up the many composite relationships in my Application and Business Capability objects. I either have to draw the lines between them one at a time then drag them into the composite object and then remove the lines. Or add the relationships individually in the relationships tab which also takes a lot of steps. Almost all the time I want the relationship when dragging them in.
Thanks

I think that out of all my wishes, this one is the most important as it takes a lot of time creating objects and drawing the composite relationship then deleting it and dragging the object into its composite. When that can happen in 1 or 2 steps with this feature. It would be an amazing time saver

In general when you nest any objects in a archimate scheme (also Bedrijfsobjecten, Functies) it would be handy that a relation automatically is made. For some combination of nested objects (e.g. application - Applicationfunction) the only possible.relation is the composition. But when you nest object of the same kind then other relation are also possible: aggregation and specilization. In that case it would be handy that the system ask which relation you want. Or that the system makes automatically an assosiation relation which you can change later by clicking on the relation and then chage the relation type.
By the way the last function would be handy in general because sometimes you change your mind about the relation or you have picked the wrong relation type.
