Working with Object Relationships

To add information about an object and establish relationships with other objects, select the Objects and go to the Relationships tab. Relationships can be added to the current and future state objects. Also, you can add lifecycle states to relationships now.

The above figure shows the Relationships tab, where you can:

  • Add new relationships with lifecycle state

  • View the current relationships of an object

  • Remove relationships

Add a relationship

  1. In the Relationships tab, click the Add relationship button in the top right corner to create a new relationship.

  2. Enter the object in the search bar or create a new one.

  3. Choose the type of relationship that should be added. The relationship label is optional free text, which will be shown on views.

  4. Select the lifecycle state (Current or Future) for a relationship.

If the desired relationship is not available according to the relationship definition, contact your BlueDolphin admin.

Change the relationship lifecycle state

You can change the relationship state from current to future and vice versa from the Objects page.

  1. In the Relationships tab, click the relationship name.

  2. Choose the relationship state from the drop-down. Click the object name to see the changes.
