NOTE: Only the project owner can add views to the Projects.

You can create a new view or diagram, or link an existing ArchiMate view or BPMN diagram to a deliverable.

Create a View or Diagram

To add a view or diagram to a deliverable:

  1. Make sure you are not in edit mode.

  2. Open the project, click the + icon on the deliverable, and select Create view.

The view is generated using the defined view template. If you’ve created a view using the Create view option, the view title is predefined as Project Name-Deliverable name.

Connect Existing View or Diagram

To connect an existing view, click the + sign and select the Connect existing view option.

Connect Archimate View

In the pop-up, you can view only public ArchiMate views that are not connected to any other views and are available to link to the deliverable.

Select a view from the list, or use the search bar to find a specific view.

NOTE: Once you connect a view to a deliverable, you cannot link that same view to any other project.

Connect BPMN View

For connecting the BPMN diagram, you can see all available process diagrams not yet linked to any project.

You can connect BPMN views owned by anyone within the tenant.

NOTE: Project owners can connect/disconnect diagrams owned by others, but cannot edit them.

After you create or connect a view, you can see which deliverables are linked to resources such as Architecture Views, BPMN diagrams, or links.

To view the content of a view or deliverable, click the deliverable name or the > icon.
